The Humanoid Robot in the Classroom: A New Era of Interactive Teaching

Humanoidni robot u učionici: nova era interaktivnog poučavanja
Ime Autora

Humanoid robots, equipped with artificial intelligence and sensors, are increasingly being used in education, providing innovative learning methods tailored to the individual needs of students. Their integration enables the development of speech skills, vocabulary expansion, problem solving in the STEM field, and the improvement of social and communication skills, especially in students with disabilities, such as children with autism spectrum disorders. The use of this type of robot in education encourages the development of teamwork skills, critical thinking, and creativity, while at the same time reducing stress by providing students with emotional support.

Abstract

The focus of the presentation is on examining the impact of using a humanoid robot on student motivation, and presenting the results using the Instructional Materials Motivation Survey (IMMS), based on the Keller Model of Motivation (ARCS), which focuses on attention, relevance, trust, and student satisfaction.

The paper also includes teachers' experience in using a humanoid robot in teaching, as well as practical examples of robot application, showing how humanoid robots can improve the learning process, increase student motivation, and provide innovative solutions for modern teaching.
