Through a conversation with history teacher Mirko Milak, we discover how students, teachers and technology at the Vinko Bek Education and Rehabilitation Center exist in constant symbiosis: from the multimedia group Bek Vokali and the DUB podcast, through films, radio dramas, and sports broadcasts, to a video podcast studio created through international cooperation. Special emphasis is placed on media literacy, self-confidence and entering the mainstream to promote inclusion, including collaborations with famous guests and public appearances by students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second focus of the episode is CARNET\u2019s BrAIn project and the role of artificial intelligence in the education of children with disabilities. Mirko explains how the Center uses AI pragmatically and critically. A key highlight is the idea that technologies not primarily intended as assistive - given the right pedagogical approach - can become so, thereby reducing costs and increasing accessibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
