The launch of the Chilli con CARNET podcast opened a space for discussion about the digital transformation of education, technology, innovations, challenges and good practices that shape modern educational spaces appropriate for new generations.
The topic of the first episode of the Chilli con CARNET podcast was the implementation of the curriculum “Artificial Intelligence: From Concept to Application”, developed as part of the “BrAIn” project, which aims to contribute to the quality and length of time that students spend in the educational process through the integration of digital technologies to establish a personalized approach to learning and teaching, and through the development of curricula and digital educational content in the field of emerging digital technologies.
The curriculum brings artificial intelligence to primary and secondary schools, offering students the opportunity to develop future competencies through practical activities.
The importance of introducing an AI curriculum, first-hand experiences and the future of education were discussed by Juraj Bilić, Assistant Director of CARNET for the Artificial Intelligence Sector, and Tamara Banović and Ivica Štrbac, teachers from the Josipa Pupačić Elementary School in Omiš, where the curriculum is already being implemented.
